A longtime American fashion retailer is adding another Massachusetts storefront to its portfolio.
Abercrombie & Fitch is taking over the former Urban Outfitters space at 700 Legacy Place, bringing its mix of apparel, accessories, and fragrances to the Legacy Place shopping mall in Dedham. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, Legacy Place recently teased the arrival on Instagram, writing, “Secret’s out 👀 @abercrombie is coming soon to Legacy Place.”
Founded in Manhattan in 1892, Abercrombie & Fitch is part of the larger Abercrombie & Fitch Co., which operates more than 830 retail locations worldwide across its parent corporate network, including locations of Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids, Hollister Co., and Gilly Hicks.
Abercrombie & Fitch has evolved from its heritage roots into an elevated American lifestyle brand known for effortless, modern styles designed for everyday life. The retailer offers apparel, accessories, and fragrance for a range of occasions and currently operates more than 300 stores worldwide, alongside its global online shop.
The Dedham outpost will join Abercrombie & Fitch’s existing Massachusetts footprint, which includes nearby stores in Boston, Natick, Burlington, Braintree, Peabody, and Lynnfield.
Abercrombie & Fitch is currently hiring for several positions at the upcoming Dedham store, including part-time Key Lead, full-time Assistant Manager, and part-time Brand Representative roles.
When it debuts, the new store will join recently added fashion retailers Aritzia and Brandy Melville at Legacy Place, along with ALO, which is also coming soon. What Now Boston has reached out to Abercrombie & Fitch representatives for additional details, including a projected opening date. Keep an eye out for updates.
