A trendy Los Angeles-born luxury lifestyle brand is adding another Greater Boston storefront to its growing Massachusetts footprint.

ALO is set to open a new store at Dedham’s Legacy Place later this year, according to The Patriot Ledger. The new location will take over the former Nike space at 222 Legacy Place, adding to ALO’s five existing Massachusetts stores in Boston’s Back Bay, the Seaport, the Prudential Center, The Street at Chestnut Hill, and MarketStreet at Lynnfield.

Founded in 2007, ALO is celebrated for bringing movement, mindfulness, and intention into everyday life. The company is best known for its elevated activewear, designed to transition “seamlessly from studio to street,” with high-performance pieces that pair functionality with a distinctly fashion-forward aesthetic.

Beyond leggings and matching sets, the brand has developed a broader wellness-focused lifestyle experience around its stores, which it calls ALO Sanctuaries. In addition to its full apparel collections, many locations also feature in-store yoga spaces, organic cafes, and mindfulness events centered around practices such as breathwork and meditation.

ALO also offers premium wellness products and an online fitness platform with thousands of on-demand classes, extending the brand’s movement and mindfulness ethos beyond its physical storefronts. Globally, the brand has grown to more than 150 brick-and-mortar retail and wellness locations across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

The Dedham store will feature ALO’s full apparel collection, along with the brand’s signature events and community activations. The new location is slated to debut in late 2026, though the company has not yet announced an exact opening date.

When it opens, ALO will join a growing collection of fashion retailers at Legacy Place, including recent and upcoming additions such as Aritzia, Brandy Melville, and Abercrombie & Fitch.

For updates on ALO’s arrival, shoppers can keep an eye on the Legacy Place Insider app. In the meantime, the brand’s full collection is available to shop online.
