A new restaurant is beefing up the burger scene in North Myrtle Beach.

Burger Social, owned by husband-and-wife team Jason and Jeannie Trinh, is set to open later this month in the former Eggs Up Grill space in the Food Lion shopping center near Barefoot Landing, according to The Sun News.

The restaurant will feature smashburgers served a la carte, with nine bun options and 14 styles of fries—including waffle, thick-cut and sweet potato. Guests can also expect creative milkshakes and craft cocktails.

“Great burgers, endless combinations of fries. Our model is modernizing the burger. We’re putting sexy back in the burger,” Jason Trinh told the outlet.

The couple also owns JEM Social, a modern American-Asian restaurant and cocktail lounge. The idea for Burger Social stemmed from one of JEM’s most popular menu items, the “Make it a Double” burger. They said they wanted to create a new space for great food and conversation.

“At Burger Social, we’re passionate about creating the most mouthwatering dining experience,” the restaurant’s website said. “Every ingredient, every recipe, and every bite is crafted with care to bring you the ultimate satisfaction.”

An exact opening date has not been announced, but the restaurant is expected to open by the end of July.
