At the end of May 2024, What Now Charleston reported that Dunkin’ would be opening four new Lowcountry locations. Now, more specific details have emerged about one of those sites.

According to a report from Nexton.com, the multinational coffee and donut company has joined the tenant lineup for Summerville’s upcoming Marketplace at Nexton development. It will be situated at the intersection of Nexton Parkway and Cross Park Lane.

George Ross, CEO of Coastal Franchising LLC, is the driving force behind this venture. Coastal Franchising manages over 100 Dunkin’ locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Dunkin’ is renowned for its coffee and donuts, as well as a wide range of beverages, snacks, wraps, sandwiches, bagels, and muffins. The chain boasts more than 13,200 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets.

While an official opening date for Dunkin’ has not yet been announced, Marketplace at Nexton is slated to debut in late 2025.
