Ladson will soon welcome its first Chick-fil-A.

The new restaurant will be situated near the intersection of Ladson Rd and Palmetto Commerce Pkwy. Franchisee Daniel Dickerson, who also manages the Chick-fil-A in North Charleston, is enthusiastic about this expansion.

“I’ve lived in the area since I was a child and have served as the local Owner-Operator for Chick-fil-A Dorchester Road for nearly 20 years,” said Dickerson. “I’m incredibly honored for the opportunity to continue serving this community that means so much to me with a second location in the near future.”

Chick-fil-A operates more than 3,000 restaurants in 48 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Canada, over 100 of which are in South Carolina alone. The fast-food chain is known for its waffle fries and “original chicken sandwich,” which features a deep-fried breaded boneless chicken breast on a toasted bun. The menu also includes nuggets, salads, sides, breakfast options, and sweet treats.

Dickerson mentioned that the Ladson Chick-fil-A is slated to open in late 2024, pending any delays.
