A local market and restaurant is working on its third location.

El Molino Supermarket is planned for 113 College Park Road in Ladson. The news was announced in an Instagram video.

The market comes from Pamela Sierra and Jaime Tinoco, who own several other businesses in South Carolina, including a new coffee shop in Hanahan called Kooben Café Mexicano and an ice cream shop called La Michoacana.

El Molino Supermarket currently has locations in West Ashley at 1610 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard and in North Charleston at 5900 Rivers Avenue.

According to the Post and Courier, the third location is expected to open in September 2025. It is slated to feature a scratch kitchen, a bakery and a taqueria featuring coastal Mexican cuisine with menu items like ceviche. Expect housemade tortillas and Mexican grocery items, produce and more available for purchase.
