The owners of a Carolina Forest restaurant may soon be opening a new brewery.

Chris Evans and his partners are planning to launch South Coast Beer Project, just a short stroll from their pet-friendly eatery, The Sneaky Beagle.

In a recent Facebook update, the owners shared that the brewery’s design is complete and awaiting county approval before construction can begin.

If approved, South Coast Beer Project will be located next to Flossy Pediatric Dentistry at 5002 Carolina Forest Blvd. A walking path around a pond will connect it to The Sneaky Beagle, providing easy access between the two venues.

The roughly 5,500-square-foot brewery will feature a full-size taproom with both indoor and outdoor seating on one side of the pond, while The Sneaky Beagle will be located on the other. Both venues will offer food, including salads and burgers, along with entertainment and family-friendly activities, such as a playground.
