Another Cook Out location is coming to Horry County, adding to the chain’s extensive presence in the area.

According to the eatery’s website, the new location is “coming soon” to 174 Fresh Dr in Myrtle Beach, just off International Dr. Yesterday, WMBF News reported sightings of construction crews actively working on the building, further confirming the imminent arrival.

Founded in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1989, Cook Out is known for its burgers, barbecue, hot dogs, and milkshakes. Beyond the staples, the eatery’s menu boasts a diverse selection ranging from chicken nuggets, hushpuppies, and quesadillas to corn dogs, Cajun fries, and wraps. Recognized for its quality, the chain has earned numerous accolades and is often hailed as the premier fast-food destination in the South.

With over 300 outlets nationwide, including more than 50 in South Carolina alone, the fast-food franchise has established a strong foothold. Once open, the new Myrtle Beach location will join nearby outlets on N Kings Hwy and Loyola Dr, as well as a plethora of Lowcountry branches, including two currently in development.

CEO Jeremy Reaves was unavailable for immediate comment, so stay tuned for an opening date as this project unfolds.
