According to recent permits filed with the city, an unnamed pizzeria is in the works at 700A King St in downtown Charleston.

While many details are currently unknown, the renovation plans show that the 1,552-square-foot, single-story space, previously used as an office, is being transformed to accommodate the new restaurant.

The pizzeria will feature two Montague pizza ovens, two fryers, one stove, a hidden wine storage room, and a dining area with seating for up to 25 guests. Renovation costs are estimated at approximately $500,000.

What Now Charleston has reached out to the permit applicant for further information and will provide updates as they become available.
