A new spot for brews and bites is coming to Myrtle Beach.
Set to open in the former Ron Jon’s Sports Bar space at 3218 Waccamaw Blvd, Unit B, Pub International aims to blend the owners’ love for travel and global cuisine with the inviting atmosphere of a classic pub.
According to its website, the pub will feature “global flavors, [a] vibrant ambiance, and classic pub fun,” bringing people together over “great food, diverse drinks, and a welcoming environment.” The menu will showcase pub-style dishes inspired by cultures worldwide, offering patrons a chance to explore international flavors without leaving Myrtle Beach.
As for drinks, guests can expect a thoughtfully curated craft beer list, including local brews, standout imports, and domestic favorites. Additionally, the bar will serve specialty and classic cocktails designed to pair perfectly with the menu’s offerings.
While it won’t be a traditional sports bar, Pub International will feature TVs for select major sports events, ensuring fans stay connected to the action. The venue will also host live music and games such as darts, pool, giant Jenga, and Connect Four, adding an extra layer of entertainment.
“At Pub International, we want you to feel right at home, whether you’re here for a casual night out, an exciting event, or just a fun gathering with friends,” states the website. “It’s a place to unwind, have fun, and enjoy all the best parts of a pub experience with a twist.”
Pub International is expected to open in February or March of 2025, pending permitting. The team is currently hiring cooks and bartenders; those interested can email resumes to [email protected] or message the pub’s Facebook page for more details.
