Downtown Columbia will soon welcome The Champagne Restaurant & Lounge at 902 Gervais Street

Owners Jordan Giles and Juliet Brown leased the 4,767 square foot space with a plan to open this spring. The Champagne Restaurant & Lounge will be a “luxurious experience that combines modern American and global cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere,” according to Colliers’ Retail Services.

The interior of the restaurant has bronze and gold accents, along with a private dining room and an outdoor patio.

“Our goal with Champagne is to create a place where people can celebrate life’s moments in elegance and style,” Giles and Brown wrote in a statement.

The building that Champagne will open in was built in 1903 as the Seaboard Railroad Station, and features other tenants that include Longhorn Steakhouse, Peebles Wings Vista and Jay’s Bar and Grill.
