Located at 1039 Johnnie Dodds Blvd in Mount Pleasant’s Anna Knapp Plaza, Tru Blue’s House of Wings is “One of Mount Pleasant’s Oldest Bars with the Best Chicken Wings in Town!”
For about two months, however, Tru Blue’s has been closed. Now, the Post and Courier has published an article reassuring Mount Pleasant’s Tru Blue’s fans:
“Residents who are worried that a popular wings restaurant is closed can rest assured the business isn’t shuttered for good, but rather for some exciting renovations.”
Rather than closing, Tru Blue’s House of Wings has been getting a makeover—and it’s almost finished! In mid-September, Tru Blue’s will reopen, once again offering its famous chicken, Maryland crab cakes, and more.
“Renovations are still underway at Tru Blue’s!” says a post published to Tru Blue’s Facebook page on August 25. “We’re hoping to be back open mid-September just in time for football season! We’ll keep you updated over the next few weeks with pictures, progress, and more updates as we get closer to reopening! A HUGE thank you for your continued support and to everyone who has been checking in on us. We appreciate you more than you know and can’t wait to welcome everyone back! See you soon!”
