Two local branches of a popular international chicken chain—one currently closed and the other pending—will soon undergo renovations.

The Chick-fil-A at 2013 Magwood Dr in Ashley Crossing temporarily shut down for upgrades on June 15, 2024. Franchisee Megan Jacques took to social media to share the news, stating:

We’re all about enhancing your Chick-fil-A experience, and this renovation is going to take things to a whole new level of awesome! 🚀 …stay tuned for updates on our grand REOPENING – it’s going to be EPIC!🎊

Meanwhile, another Chick-fil-A at 1312 N Main St in Summerville has applied for a permit with the Department of Health and Environmental Control as part of a planned remodeling project, according to The Post and Courier. This renovation will expand the restaurant and drive-thru, as well as add some additional parking. Franchisee Chris Walker owns this location, as well as another in Goose Creek.

Stay tuned for reopening details for the West Ashley location and closure information for the Summerville site.
