A well-known jeweler is expanding to Johns Island.

Kendra Scott is set to debut at 149 Village Green Lane in Freshfields Village, according to business filings.

The mixed-use center features more than 50 boutiques, restaurants and hospitality offerings surrounding a central Village Green, which hosts community events throughout the year, including concerts, farmers markets and seasonal festivals.

The lifestyle retailer is best known for its jewelry collections and accessories. Each piece is designed to be versatile and recognizable, featuring custom stones crafted with a focus on individuality and everyday wear.

In addition to necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, the store offers sunglasses, handbags, travel and tech accessories, jewelry storage and home items such as candles, catering to both everyday wear and gifting occasions.

Founded by Kendra Scott in 2002 in Austin, Texas, the brand has earned national recognition, including induction into the Texas Business Hall of Fame. Scott has also received an honorary Doctor of Commercial Science degree from LIM College and appeared as a guest investor on “Shark Tank.”

The Johns Island store will mark Kendra Scott’s fourth location in South Carolina, joining existing stores in Columbia, Greenville and Charleston.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. Once open, the store will operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
