A new shopping center is on the way in Beaufort, and it will include a Chicken Salad Chick.
The salad and sandwich chain has been expanding its reach in the Carolinas in recent years thanks to a partnership with local franchise group Sing Bev Hospitality, who operates more than 17 locations in the two states. Most recently, the group announced a North Charleston location at the new Cedar Grove Commons shopping center. Other lowcountry locations include Summerville, Goose Creek and Mount Pleasant.
Now, they’re gearing up to continue that growth in Beaufort. Chicken Salad Chick is among the first tenants announced in the forthcoming Beaufort Station retail center, which is currently under construction at Robert Smalls Parkway and Parris Island Gateway. At 200,000 square feet, it will be among the largest shopping centers in the stretch between Savannah and Charleston when it opens next summer.
Other confirmed tenants include Aldi, Ross, Petsmart, Five Below, Hobby Lobby, Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, and Surcheros Fresh Mex.
