Aviator Brewing Company is planning the Aviator Airplane Lounge at 620 Brewing Drive in Fuquay-Varina, in the Raleigh area, where the Town of Fuquay-Varina is reviewing site plans for the proposed cocktail bar, according to the Triangle Business Journal.
The 2,425-square-foot project would feature a cocktail bar and incorporate the hull of an airplane into part of the bar. The unusual design element would give the lounge a distinct identity while adding another gathering space to Aviator’s existing brewery campus. The project would also build on the brewery’s established presence in Fuquay-Varina and expand the range of experiences available at the Brewing Drive property.
Aviator also operates a tap house and kitchen at 600 E. Broad St. in Fuquay-Varina, giving the brewery multiple venues serving the local community. The proposed lounge would add another concept to its portfolio in the town.
Aviator Gold Leaf LLC is listed as the developer, with DesignLine Studios serving as the engineer. The site plans are currently under review by the town as the project moves through the development process.
An exact opening date for the Aviator Airplane Lounge has not been announced. WhatNow Charlotte reached out to representatives for additional information but did not receive a response by publication.
