Nazara Indian Cuisine has closed its Cary restaurant at 1945 High House Road and is preparing to relocate to Raleigh. The Triangle Business Journal reported that the restaurant has filed permits for a new location at 13600 Falls of Neuse Road near the Falls Lake Dam.
The restaurant has not announced an exact opening date, but owner Harman Hondul confirmed to WhatNow Charlotte that Nazara is targeting an October or November opening for the Raleigh location.
The Cary closure marks the end of Nazara’s time at its High House Road location. Triangle Business Journal reported that the restaurant announced the closure on social media, thanking customers for their support and reflecting on its connection to the Cary community.
Nazara’s menu features Indian dishes ranging from Punjabi samosas, vegetable pakoras and tandoori chicken to paneer, lamb, goat and seafood. Other offerings include biryanis, mixed grills, curries, vegetarian dishes and Indian breads, according to the restaurant’s website.
The Raleigh opening will further expand Nazara’s presence in the Triangle. Its sister restaurant, Azitra Indian Culinary Nirvana, continues to operate at 8411 Brier Creek Parkway.
With permits filed and an opening window now identified, Nazara Indian Cuisine is preparing to begin its next chapter in Raleigh near Falls Lake.
