La La Land Kind Café is preparing to open its first Charlotte location at 1930 Camden Road, in the former Bitty & Beau’s Coffee space in South End. The Dallas-based coffee chain is targeting late 2026 or early 2027 for the opening, according to a recent Instagram post from MeetCLT.
Known for its bright yellow branding and specialty beverages, La La Land Kind Café has built its identity around coffee, matcha and a mission centered on kindness. The upcoming Charlotte location will introduce the concept to the Queen City, bringing its signature drinks to the South End neighborhood, MeetCLT reported.
The café’s menu features specialty lattes, matcha drinks, iced refreshments and other coffeehouse staples. Offerings highlighted by the brand include the La La Latte and other flavored beverages, with the company’s official website providing further details about its drink selection.
Beyond its beverage menu, La La Land Kind Café connects its business model to employment opportunities for young people transitioning out of foster care. The company describes its mission as creating opportunities for foster youth through paid work experience and support, according to its official website.
An exact opening date for the South End café has not been announced. MeetCLT reported that the business is targeting late 2026 or early 2027, giving Charlotte coffee drinkers a new concept to anticipate as the brand expands into North Carolina.
