Olive Garden has applied for a proposed restaurant at 3350 NC-87, Sanford, within the planned Adams Village commercial development, according to the Triangle Business Journal’s Instagram post.

Olive Garden could be among the national restaurant chains joining Adams Crossing, a retail development in Sanford, North Carolina. The Triangle Business Journal reported in an Instagram post that Olive Garden has submitted an application for a location at the development, as Sanford continues to attract national brands.

The application signals a potential addition to the local dining scene, although an opening date and construction timeline have not been announced. The Triangle Business Journal post does not provide further details about the proposed restaurant’s size, design or expected debut.

Olive Garden serves Italian-American fare, with a menu featuring pasta dishes, chicken entrées, soups, salads and its signature breadsticks. According to the restaurant’s official website, guests can also find familiar selections such as Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana and Lasagna Classico, alongside options for takeout and family dining.

If the application moves forward, the proposed restaurant would give Sanford residents another option for casual Italian-American dining. However, the application does not confirm details about its precise position within Adams Crossing and its anticipated opening remain unannounced.
