Neighborhood bar concept Two Buck Saloon is charting a path for Oakhurst, with plans to open at 4624 Monroe Road, a recent permit indicates.

Owner Brent Schilb confirmed the new location with What Now Charlotte. He opened the first Two Buck Saloon in 2020 on Hawthorne Lane. Since then, he has added two more locations, including one in Pineville and one along Albemarle Road in East Charlotte. This will be the fourth location for the bar.

The spot offers a variety of beer as pints, cans and bottles. There is also a limited wine list. Two Buck Saloon is known for its dive bar atmosphere, featuring live music, events, billiards and darts.

Two Buck Saloon is not the only concept joining the Oakhurst neighborhood. North Carolina mimosa-and-brunch concept Brunches recently announced plans to open at the nearby Oakhurst Commons, joining other concepts that have recently entered the neighborhood like Ilios Crafted Greek and The Health Club.

As of now, a timeline for opening is unclear. Permitting is ongoing and construction is still in progress on the site.
