The Nicholas Family of Companies today announced the opening of Hatty’s Club and The Market by Hatty’s, just outside Chicago in Rosemont, Ill. The two hospitality destinations are located inside the new $34.5 million indoor Rosemont Ice Arena developed by Nicholas Family of Companies and the Village of Rosemont. Hatty’s Club, an upscale sports bar and supper club concept, offers a family-friendly sit-down experience, while The Market by Hatty’s delivers an elevated grab-and-go concept.

“We partnered with the Village of Rosemont to make Hatty’s a true ‘third place’ — a space where neighbors, local businesses, people seeing shows at Allstate Arena and the entire Chicagoland community can come together to feel a sense of belonging,” said Nick Papanicholas Jr., CEO and managing director of the Nicholas Family of Companies in a statement. “Hatty’s Club is a place where families, sports fans, concertgoers and visitors alike can enjoy unforgettable experiences. Even those who aren’t connected to the arena will find themselves drawn in and welcomed.”

The food at Hatty’s Club is redefining what fans can expect from a typical sports venue, noted Papanicholas. Moving beyond vending machines and standard concession fare, the restaurant offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with elevated comfort food such as chicken pot pie, bacon wrapped meatloaf, fried chicken, wood-fired pizzas, pigs in a blanket and more.

A dedicated kids menu ensures the whole family can enjoy favorites including mac and cheese, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and fries. Complementing the cuisine is a thoughtfully curated cocktail selection, with seasonal creations to enhance the overall dining experience. Guests can enjoy wine, specialty cocktails and mocktails inspired by hockey culture, with playful names such as the Slapshot, Zamboni and Hat Trick.

This holiday season, Hatty’s Club is offering Thanksgiving pies – apple, pecan and pumpkin – for guests to bring home. Orders are open now, with pickup available Tuesday, Nov. 25 and Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Private dining rooms overlooking the Chicago Wolves practice rink are available for rent, accommodating up to 100 guests for birthday parties, corporate meetings and special events.

For a quick bite, The Market by Hatty’s offers a grab-and-go experience. Visitors can choose from a thoughtfully curated menu of fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps and snacks. The Market by Hatty’s experience is completed with brewed coffee, freshly squeezed juices and made-to-order smoothies.

“Whether cheering players on the home or away team, the Market by Hatty’s offers a welcoming space to enjoy practices and games while grabbing a quick bite that supports the health and wellness of athletes, families and fans,” said Papanicholas.

Hatty’s Club, built by the Nicholas Family of Companies’ construction division Nicholas & Associates and designed by architectural firm ARCON Associates, Inc., occupies Rosemont Ice Arena’s mezzanine level. Beyond serving arena visitors and athletes, the restaurant is positioned to become a premier destination for both locals and tourists by blending the energy of a sports bar with the sophistication of a modern supper club.

Strategically located just north of Allstate Arena, the restaurant will attract patrons attending Chicago Wolves games and high-profile concerts, such as the upcoming 103.5 Kiss FM Jingle Ball taking place Monday, Dec. 8 and Jonas Brothers performance on Thursday, Dec. 11. Hatty’s Club is a natural addition to Rosemont, a thriving hub for entertainment, dining, conventions and family activities. Located just 3 miles from O’Hare International Airport, the restaurant will also appeal to hotel guests, travelers and athletes participating in regional and national hockey tournaments.

Seventeen high-definition televisions are strategically placed throughout the bar with additional screens in the dining area so patrons can enjoy every moment of sports action without missing a beat. The bar also features a dedicated viewing area framed by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking both ice rinks of the 103,000-square-foot twin-sheet facility. This carefully designed layout accommodates a variety of seating preferences while creating an immersive, electrifying experience for sports enthusiasts.

“Hatty’s Club is meticulously designed to ensure all guests have the ultimate experience while enjoying their favorite sporting events, especially hockey,” said Papanicholas. “It’s a space where strangers become friends and memories are made over comfort food and fine wine. Whether you’re a foodie, a sports enthusiast or simply seeking an inviting place to relax, Hatty’s Club is a destination everyone can call their own.”

The Nicholas Family of Companies brings exceptional dining experiences across Chicago’s suburbs through its hospitality subsidiary Big Fish Hospitality, a design-build-operate firm. In addition to Hatty’s Club and The Market by Hatty’s, Big Fish Hospitality’s portfolio includes:

  • The Prospect: a multi-story American bistro and bar in downtown Mount Prospect that serves high-end cuisine in an environment that rivals those typically found in city epicenters.
  • Big Fish’s Icehouse: an on-site scratch kitchen and lounge within Nicholas Sportsplex, also in Mount Prospect, marking another dining destination in an ice arena to elevate the gaming and fan experience.
  • Nomad Taco: a mobile kitchen serving Mexican street fare. From handmade blue corn tortillas to traditional trompo cooking methods, Nomad Taco proudly serves diverse flavors across Chicagoland.
  • Additional dining locations, catering and event spaces in Mount Prospect and Elk Grove Village are to come.
