The newest spot for coffee and energy drinks is coming to the western suburb.
Bloomingdale locals have been taking to social media to report a new 7 Brew location is coming to 68 Stratford Drive. This comes from the franchise group Who Brew which is growing the company’s presence in the Chicago area. Right now, the project is under construction and there is no estimated opening date.
This is not the only 7 Brew location coming to Illinois. A shop is also planned for Carpentersville, and a Joliet location just opened at 2421 W Jefferson Street. Franchises including Who Brew have been expanding into this new market the past few months.
The project is being introduced by Chris George, vice president of entitlement and construction for Who Brew. In the past, he opened the Lake Zurich location at 880 South Rand Road. When contacted, George did not respond for comment.
Fans of 7 Brew know what to expect with the menu, which includes hot and cold brew coffees, energy drinks, fizz drinks which have sparkling water infused in flavors and topped with cream, teas, lemonades and shakes. The Bloomingdale spot is expected to be a drive-thru concept.
Per recent pictures, the area is full of dirt and the structure is being built up. It is close to the former Stratford Square Mall, which was recently demolished this year.
7 Brew has not officially made any statements about the new location. From recent social media posts, the project was approved by the Village of Bloomingdale as of this month. More information will be released in the coming weeks.
