A new family destination is set to bring both games and a restaurant experience to the city.
Rock River Current recently reported on Cahoot’s Rockford coming to 505 N Madison Street. The building is being repurposed into a space for arcade games, mini putt, bowling and a restaurant. Co-Owner Brian Huels told What Now Chicago the estimated opening is January or February 2026.
Huels is opening the new business with his wife, Megan, who is leading the project. The venue will have a restaurant and bar on the first floor, serving casual, gastropub food. The food and drink menus have not been released.
“Opening in 2026, it’s where food, fun and community come together,” says the description on their website.
The 50,000 square-foot building is a former Coca-Cola bottling plant, just north of Rockford’s downtown. It is close to Prairie Street Brewing Co. on the river, along with Mary’s Place.
Accompanying the activities and the restaurant, creative classes will also be offered. A VIP area is set to go on the second floor for special events. It is meant to be a community space for guests to have fun, socialize and learn.
What Now Chicago has reached out to Megan, and this article may be updated.
