Missouri-based Hamra Enterprises is slated to open a new Wendy’s location in Palatine, Illinois, on February 4. The restaurant will celebrate its opening with special offers and deals. This is Hamra’s 29th Wendy’s in Illinois, and its third location in Palatine.
Hamra Enterprises Launches Third Wendy’s in Palatine
The legacy of Hamra Enterprises began in 1975 when Sam F. Hamra partnered with Wendy’s. Their first store was opened in 1976 in Springfield, Missouri. The family-owned company has now opened its latest Wendy’s at 1099 E Dundee Road in Palatine, Illinois.
The restaurant will start serving the community on Wednesday, February 4, and will operate daily from 7:00 A.M. to 1:00 A.M. Wendy’s is well known for its juicy burgers, classic chicken sandwiches, and familiar fast-food staples.
The new Palatine location features the latest Global Next Gen design, including a kitchen optimized for speed and efficiency and an enhanced drive-thru. The location also includes dedicated mobile and delivery pick-up points to support today’s digital ordering preferences.
In an official statement, Mike Hamra, CEO of Hamra Enterprises, shared excitement over this new opening in Palatine and highlighted the company’s 50-year partnership with Wendy’s.
“We’ve chosen this spot because it’s where people already are—along daily commute routes, in the heart of the neighborhood. Whether you prefer dining in, drive-thru, mobile ordering, or delivery, we’ve designed this restaurant to make Wendy’s as convenient and welcoming as possible for our new neighbors,” said Mike Hamra.
Hamra Enterprises operates multiple restaurant brands across 12 states and employs more than 7,500 people. The company supports local communities through fundraising and partnerships with organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and several others.
Special Opening Day Offers
To celebrate the grand opening of the Palatine location, the first 50 guests dining in and making a purchase will receive a “Dave’s Single Hamburger Every Month for a Year” certificate.
Additionally, on opening day, 20% of all dining room and drive-thru purchases will benefit People Helping People Palatine, a local nonprofit that supports individuals and families facing food insecurity, domestic violence, and other crises. Guests can participate by saying “BACONATOR” at the register.
Currently, Hamra Enterprises operates 107 Wendy’s restaurants in five states. The restaurant will employ about 45 people at its new Palatine location.
With the new Palatine opening, Hamra Enterprises continues to expand its Wendy’s presence in Illinois. The new location of the restaurant brings updated features, familiar menu favorites, and local charitable support.
