A new bakery concept from Noodlebird is coming to Logan Square.
The team at Noodlebird recently announced they are introducing a sister bakery next door at 2951 W Diversey Avenue. This will be called Bird Bird, and it will serve breakfast items and pastries. According to owner Adrienne Lo, they are hoping for an early August opening.
“From custardy Portuegese egg tarts to ube sticky buns and “that” breakfast sandwich, everything’s made with a little (or a lot) of butter, and a lot of love,” says the description on their website. There has not been an official announcement on the opening date, but a recent Instagram post hinted that “the ovens are on” and the space is coming soon.
The bakery will be open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Meanwhile, Noodlebird is open 4-9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sundays.
Noodlebird has been in Logan Square since 2021 when it rebranded from the Fat Rice Asian fusion spot. Lo was also one of the owners of Fat Rice. Now, Bird Bird is going in place of Fat Rice’s bakery. There is space for indoor dining, but outdoor seating has not been confirmed.
