Cooper’s Hawk, the winery and restaurant found throughout the country, is getting ready for a massive renovation at its Wheeling site at 583 N Milwaukee Ave.

The popular chain restaurant recently received a $100,000 municipal grant to help fund a building renovation, according to the Daily Herald. This will help the restaurant’s roughly $4.9 million renovation that is planned. The project will include an expanded outdoor seating area, facade changes, landscaping, and interior building changes. Cooper’s Hawk will likely close temporarily for these renovations, but a timeline is unclear. The restaurant opened in 2008 in front of the Westin Chicago North Hotel.

While the chain restaurant can be found throughout the country, there are locations in Arlington Heights, South Barrington, and St. Charles. Cooper’s Hawk also recently opened a new location in Gurnee, and a new pizza-pass concept called Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk. The new Cooper’s Hawk will likely benefit from the company’s latest partnership with ArrowStream, the leading food service cloud platform for supply chain intelligence.

“Having worked with ArrowStream in the past, I know firsthand the value they deliver,” Jeremy Lyle, SVP of Supply Chain at Cooper’s Hawk, said in a press release. “In today’s environment with regular supply disruptions, volatile food costs, and lean operations teams, ArrowStream’s platform is a must-have to optimize and future-proof our supply chain. In addition to their core platform, ArrowStream’s extended service components make this the complete solution that Cooper’s Hawk can evolve with.”
