Fasts casual American restaurant Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ is opening its third location in Illinois, this time in Rockford.

Franchisees Stephanie Woods and Saneeta Golden will soon be the newest operators of this rustic backyard BBQ spot that has something for everyone. Golden tells What Now Chicago she is still hoping to open this new location in early 2023. When it opens, customers can expect 18-42 taps of local craft beers, games for kids, and plenty to eat. Some location also has Ax Lanes, drive-thru’s, and patios, while others use the space to host trivia and bingo nights as well.

“We are excited to welcome Stephanie and Saneeta into the family and join the rest of our Crave family in Illinois,” the company said in a press release.

Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ also has a new location coming to Bloomington, at 2401 Oakland Avenue Unit B, at an unknown time. The company has yet to announce the location of the other upcoming site coming to Illinois. At the moment, the state doesn’t have any sites in operation. Despite barely making it into the Illinois market, Crave continues to be one of the fastest-growing hot dog and BBQ concepts and is poised to be the leader in the fast-casual BBQ market.

Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ can be found across the country in at least 18 states through brick-and-mortars and food trucks. The restaurant’s increasing popularity comes with good reason, as their offer some delicious American BBQ. Some menu items found at this restaurant include hot dogs, pulled chicken, pulled pork, smoked brisket, hot and mild sausages, and bratwursts.
