According to a recent Daily Herald article, Rud Dogs aims to debut in St. Charles at 208 W Main Street.

“We plan to have our grand opening in March. We will carry a diverse menu of all fried food, and we will be one of the only open kitchens past 10 PM in the Saint Charles area. Our food will be a great option for everybody to enjoy,” co-owner Ryan Rudowicz told What Now Chicago.

“Rud Dog’s will have graffiti on the walls and will be a place that embodies a classic hot dog style establishment. There is a prominence of red and white for colors, and 80s-90s rock and rap music will be playing for the later crowd, too.”

“We’re excited to share all the food options with our customers! All of Rud Dog’s food will be good products, and we’re not cutting any corners with the quality of food.”

“A big goal is to provide good products, such as Vienna products to our customers. We will have something for everybody. My father, brother, and I own three other bars in St. Charles: R House, Rudy’s Bar, and The Beach Hut. Over time, our customers have always told us to try a food option, so we have always thought about opening a restaurant.”

“This has always been my father, my brother, and I’s vision. My dad worked at a hot dog place when he was younger, and my brother and I both worked in the restaurant industry. When the option came up to open a restaurant, we took it immediately and ran with it!”

“One big thing we’re excited to share with the community will be our hours. We will be open until 2-3 AM, and we’re also excited to share our presence with the area.”
