The Highland Park pizza delivery service is coming to the northwest neighborhood in the future.
Marc Pavese, owner of Forno Pavese, recently submitted a liquor license application for his new location coming to 6050-6052 N Northwest Highway in Norwood Park. His business serves Neapolitan-style pizzas and does mobile deliveries and catering. Pavese told What Now Chicago there is not an opening date right now, but he is hoping for sometime this winter or spring.
Forno Pavese has been operating as a pizza delivery service out of Highland Park for the last couple years. They are known for their 12-inch wood-fired pizzas, with build-your-own options. For desserts, the Rags to Riches, which is pizza topped with Nutella and powdered sugar is a popular option.
“Our food is prepared with the freshest ingredients and ingredients imported from Italy, to create unforgettable culinary experiences for your event,” says the description on their website.
Their first brick and mortar will be in the plaza close to the Norwood Park Metra station. Also at the plaza are Mystic Rogue Irish pub and restaurant, Sapori Napoletani Pizzeria and Norwood Royal Cigars. Pavese said he is in the process of getting the liquor license application so plans can be finalized.
