The cafe and market continues to expand in Chicago as a new location is in the works.
Foxtrot recently applied for space at 704 N Wabash Avenue in River North. The company currently has seven locations in the Chicago area. The space near downtown has been listed as available, and there is no word on the opening date yet.
What Now Chicago previously reported Foxtrot was planning on reopening their cafes in Wicker Park, Fulton Market, Old Town and Gold Coast. The chain previously closed 33 of its stores, including 15 in Chicago in April 2024. Now, it looks like the company is experiencing a slight revival.
Foxtrot will be on the ground floor of 704 N Wabash, near the corner of E Huron Street. The cafe will be near the famous Starbucks Reserve Roastery, and it is across the street from Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap. The closest Foxtrot location is at 401 N Wells Street.
The markets offer coffee sold as retail and served at the cafes. These include fresh pour over coffees, frozen brews, espressos, hot chocolate and teas. The menu for the River North location is expected to be similar or the same. Recently, Foxtrot listed a position for a Chicago cafe, calling this a “new Foxtrot Market.”
