Avondale will again have no shortage of pizza options in the near future.

The team behind the Guild Row social club including co-founder Jim Lasko are now opening a new pizza shop called Lark Pizza at 3132 N Rockwell. It was reported by Eater Chicago that the shop will serve Neapolitan-style thin-crust pizza. These will be similar to the pizzas at Paulie Gee’s at Logan Square.

The team is working with Meadowlark cocktail bar in Logan Square to bring the restaurant to life. On their website, they are listed as “Coming soon.” They are also hiring for various positions including lead bartender, general manager and chef de cuisine.

The restaurant will be going in the Guild Row space. Other pizza restaurants in this area include Pete’s Pizza, Pizza Hut Express, Easy Street Pizza & Patio, Rosati’s Pizza and Pi-Hi Cafe.

Official hours have not been announced, but it will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. There is also no estimated date of opening as of yet, but they are aiming to open this summer.
