A new restaurant from celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis is coming to the Aurora suburb.

PENN Entertainment, which owns the current Hollywood Casino in Aurora at 1 W New York Street, recently announced a new restaurant is coming to their new casino that’s under construction. The new site will be adjacent to the Chicago Premium Outlets mall, and inside will be Sorella by Giada.

De Laurentiis is famous for being on the Food Network Channel, and she also owns two restaurants in Las Vegas and one in Scottsdale, Arizona. The new restaurant will have pizzas, pastas and more.

“I’m thrilled to partner with PENN Entertainment to bring fresh restaurant concepts to their exciting new Chicagoland properties,” De Laurentiis said in the press release.

At the restaurant, there will be around 170 seats for dining, as well as private rooms and outdoor seating. It will also have a bar inside the restaurant with wines picked by De Laurentiis.

According to the City of Aurora, the restaurant is currently under construction, and the inside of the Hollywood Casino is expected to open in the first half of 2026. There is also a location being constructed in Joliet along with their new Hollywood Casino, set to open in the fourth quarter of 2025.

“This restaurant concept exemplifies the type of vibrant atmosphere that guests can expect from the all-new Hollywood Casino,” Greg Moore, vice president and general manager of Hollywood Casino Aurora, said in a statement.
