Following the success of L Station Luxe + Soul downtown, another project from Le’Roy Patterson is on the way.

From the Chicago Liquor License Database, L Station Chophouse is opening next month at 455 W North Avenue. This will serve prime steaks, with a Miami and Las Vegas upscale dining experience. Patterson told What Now Chicago buildout has just finished.

Patterson opened the original L Station location at 186 N Wells Street in November 2022. The kitchen and bar offer entrees like lamb mac & cheese, the turkey burger sandwich and lollipop lamb chops. The location serves other gastropub items, and the new Old Town restaurant is going to have a different menu entirely.

“Every dish reflects the Patterson family’s passion for great food and memorable experiences,” says the description on their website.

When the first location was opened, it was meant to be a space that hosts gatherings for family and friends. The restaurant is run entirely by the Patterson family, and Le’Roy’s mother manages the space. In an article from The Tribe in 2022, lines were out the door for the opening of the downtown spot.

L Station Chophouse is at the corner of W North and N Cleveland avenues, a couple storefronts down from Al Halal Zaiqa Restaurant. This is near the Sedgwick Brown and Purple line station.
