Lean Kitchen Company, a fast-casual grab-and-go eatery found throughout the country, is opening a new location in Valparaiso.
The company currently has one location in Schererville, operated by franchisees Justin and Adriana Skains with Eric and Christy Miller. They launched this location earlier this year to give people some of their time back without sacrificing their nutrition goals. Customers can find grab-and-go meals made from scratch, such as Sunrise Protein Burrito and Kickin Chicken Stirfry. Now, the owners have recently announced on Facebook they are expanding the business to Porter County, hoping to open in Fall 2022.
“We’ve always been passionate about fitness, and we understand that the most challenging part of a healthy lifestyle is diet and nutrition,” the owners say on the Lean Kitchen Company website. “We spend hours cooking at home and at the grocery store every week, which isn’t always ideal.”
On top of the expansion, NWI Times reports the group of owners are also opening a brand new business called Well Fed Athletes is making its debut in Valparaiso, located at 1615 Calumet Ave. Not much is known about this new business, but it will likely have some relation to food, considering the name. What else is known is the new business will move into the Calumet Station at an unknown time.
Lean Kitchen Company takes pride in serving healthy meals that will help its customers drop pounds and build muscle. Now, the pair of husbands and wives are expanding their attempt to help the community with this new business, opening at an unknown time. When Well Fed Kids does open, it will have to compete with other health-forward eateries nearby, such as Geitonia Greek Grill, and tempting fast food restaurants, such as Taco Bell.
