According to an article from Evanston Now, Land and Lake Cafe aims to debut at Evanston’s Hilton Orrington Hotel.
“LM Restaurant Group, which already operates the Evanston Corner Bistro in the building, expects their Land and Lake Cafe to welcome customers in the spring. The private space, the Lighthouse Room, should be ready in January.”
“The Cafe, filling a closed dining spot, will offer breakfast and lunch, but more casually than the Evanston Corner Bistro, with plenty of “to-go” items. LM, by way, stands for Luc and Mary, the children of LM Group owners Nicole and Stephan Outrequin Quaisser.”
According to LM Restaurant Group’s website, “Currently there are two Land & Lake concepts in Chicagoland. The original Land & Lake Kitchen is located on the ground floor of the LondonHouse hotel at the corner of Michigan and Wacker just steps from Chicago’s historic Magnificent Mile and Land & Lake Rosemont is located in the newly renovated Staybridge Suites/Holiday Inn Chicago O’ Hare.”
“The concept is Midwestern inspired and diners can expect to find a variety of elevated American classics via refined but approachable dishes created using locally sourced ingredients. The bar program includes a wide selection of locally brewed beers as well as a selection of cocktails using locally and regionally distilled liquor as well as wine, primarily from the West Coast.”
LM’s Land & Lake concepts offer guests an unpretentious and welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, guaranteed to make them feel like a regular whether it’s their first visit or their 50th.”
