French pastry shop and cafe Maison Parisienne is expanding to a new location in Lincoln Park, located at 901 W. Armitage Ave.

The new location is expected to open sometime in late summer 2022, according to Eater Chicago. When the new pastry shop opens, guests can expect a place where they could have a taste of France right here in Chicago. Maison Parisienne takes pride in serving authentic French food such as pastries, croissants, traditional meals, quiches, savory tarts, croque-monsieurs, and more. Owner Eris Erkoca currently operates a location in Lakeview and another on Clark Street near Park West.

The new pastry shop will move into an area bustling with other popular eateries and cafes, such as La Colombe Coffee Roasters, Annette’s Italian Ice Cream, and Ambrosia Cafe. Unlike these other cafes, Maison Parisienne will focus on French pastries, with sacred recipes originating in Paris. Another service found at this cafe not often found at others is the possibility to cater a big event. The company will bring various sweet and savory pastries for guests to enjoy.

“Today you can buy mass-produced packaged products in many grocery stores, even in bakeries and pastry shops, but believe us, they are a pale substitute for the real thing,” according to the French restaurant’s Facebook. “If you can’t fly to Paris, do the next best thing and come to Maison Parisienne to find Authentic French Food.”
