A local eatery known for chilaquiles and all-day breakfast is cooking up a fourth location.

La Catedral Cafe & Restaurant is coming soon to Millennium Park at 400 E Randolph Street.

The restaurant will join existing La Catedral locations in North Lawndale at 1407 S Washtenaw Avenue, in Little Village at 2500 S Christiana Avenue, and in Brighton Park at 4720 S California Avenue.

La Catedral Cafe & Restaurant comes from Ambrocio “Bocho” Gonzalez, a chef who is originally from Guadalajara in Mexico. The restaurant is perhaps best known for its chilaquiles, but the menu also includes breakfast entrees like waffles, omelettes, pancakes and a variety of coffee beverages. If you’re opting for lunch, the extensive menu includes Mexican classics like tacos and tortas, as well as sandwiches, salads and wraps.

Gonzales is adding to his restaurant portfolio even further later this year with a new concept called La Casa de las Flores, a Mexican restaurant in the works in Little Village, plus a coffee shop planned for Xquina Incubator & Cafe.
