New Pizzeria From Owners of Danke Coming to Sterling Food Hall

Change is coming to the popular food hall in the Loop.

The owners of Table, Donkey and Stick are introducing a new pizzeria to Sterling Food Hall.

Following news that Art of Dosa is closing at the food hall in the Loop this week, there is also a new unnamed pizzeria coming to the space at 125 S Clark Street. It will be located inside the food hall. The kinds of pizza that will be on the menu have not been released.

The project comes from Danke owners Matt Sussman and Karen Shimmin. This is a sandwich shop which has been a staple of the Sterling food hall. Along with Table, Donkey and Stick, Sussman also owns Bar Parisette

The Sterling Food Hall is in the heart of the Loop on S Clark Street. It includes other names such as Hot Chi, Litos Empanadas and La Shuk Street Food. The space hosts events like trivia, wine nights and Lego workshops.

Art of Dosa is a South Indian restaurant that became a destination for those who visited The Sterling. The owner Ravi Nagubadi announced last week that the location would be closing by Aug. 1. The Sterling Food Hall social media has not made public announcements of the recent changes coming to the space. 

A timeline for the new pizzeria is yet to be announced. What Now Chicago has reached out to the owner of Table, Donkey and Stick, and this article may be updated.
