A new bar promising good times and creative drinks is coming to Wicker Park this fall.

A new restaurant concept called Wicker 64 Bar & Grill will be opening at 1745 W North Avenue in Wicker Park. This is going in place of The Delta bar. According to owner, the bar will be opening sometime in October.

“Good vibes, bold bites and unforgettable nights,” says the description on their website.

The Delta had closed earlier this year. This was a Southern-themed bar with tamales and cocktails. Now, this new bar and grill is expected to serve American bar food, like burgers and wings.

In the space, there will also be a DJ performing some nights. Per a recent Instagram post, the space inside looks to be nearly finished. The photo showcases the bar area which has stools, TVs and additional seating in the back.

The business applied for outdoor patio space as well. It is going in near the center of the Wicker Park neighborhood, across the street from Gallery Cafe. Other businesses nearby are Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings, and Lucia’s Italian.

It is not clear at what stage of opening the restaurant is at right now. What Now Chicago has reached out to Wicker 64 for additional comment.
