According to a recent article from Chicago Yimby, Peoria Packing Butcher Shop is planning a relocation to 4125 W Roosevelt Road.

“We plan to relocate to our new location in March of 2025,” Harry Katsiavelos, the president of Peoria Packing Butcher Shop, told What Now Chicago.

“We will be at a better site than we are now, we will have more space and products, and a lot less congestion. We will also have a bigger protein line. Our retail store will triple in size to around 15,000 square feet, and 120-130 cars for parking, and buses running for transport.”

Peoria Packing Butcher Shop originally opened in the heart of Peoria, is described as a hidden gem that has been serving the community since its founding in 1993. They established a simple yet unwavering mission: to provide the public with access to high-quality meat at wholesale prices. As the years have passed, their commitment to this mission has remained steadfast, making the delivery of quality meat to their customers their utmost priority.

Peoria Packing’s Butcher Shop is a one-stop destination for all your meat needs. Their extensive range includes pork, beef, lamb, poultry, homemade sausage, Smoked meats, fish, and various other packaged perishables. The hallmark of their service is the direct flow of these meat products from America’s farms and processors to your kitchen, with no middleman and no additional marketing costs.

Their motto is simple: “As supplies last!” In other words, it’s a first-come, first-served policy, allowing customers to enjoy the freshest and most varied selection available, according to the company website.
