Well-known cookie chain Insomnia Cookies is opening its first location in Melrose Park, Illinois. The new store is set to open its doors on Saturday, January 10, 2026, with grand opening celebrations. The opening will feature a free delivery offer for a limited time.
Insomnia Cookies Expands in Illinois
Melrose Park Center on North Avenue is set to welcome a new Insomnia Cookies store. This will be the brand’s 17th location in Illinois and 343rd nationwide.
The Philadelphia-based brand is known for its warm cookies and late-night delivery. Seth Berkowitz founded the brand in 2003, and after two decades, it has now expanded with over 300 nationwide locations.
The cookie chain features warm and crunchy cookies, delicious ice cream pints, cookie cakes, and more. The new store menu includes some of the favorite flavors like Chocolate Chunk, Snickerdoodle, and Confetti Deluxe. Additionally, the store will also serve Cookies ’N Ice Cream, brownies, blondies, brookies, vegan options, and limited-edition treats.
The store will be open all week, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 AM Sunday through Wednesday, and from 11:00 AM to 3:00 AM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Grand Opening Festivities And Giveaways
To celebrate this new beginning, Insomnia Cookies is hosting an all-day and late-night opening event on January 10. The event is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 3:00 AM; guests can sign up for Insomnia Rewards and get one cookie free of cost. The offer does not require any purchase. New members can sign up online or in the app to track points, redeem rewards, and reorder their favorite treats.
Along with that, customers can also use code MELROSE for free delivery from January 10 at 12:00 PM through January 26 at 1:00 AM. The new store is also hiring part-time employees, delivery partners, and shift leaders.
The Melrose Park opening marks Insomnia Cookies’ continued expansion. The store plans to attract more customers and fans with its opening day deals and giveaways.
