According to a recent article from the Daily Herald, Race Line Social is set to open at the Elk Grove Town Center, located at 980 Elk Grove Town Center.
A representative of Race Line Social was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Chicago’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to the article from the Daily Herald, “Owner Justin Mayer says he wants to capitalize on the growing interest in eSports, arcades and the Formula One racing series in opening his 3,000-square-foot arcade and bar.”
The focal point of Race Line Social’s experience will be the installation of six state-of-the-art video racing simulators. These “cutting-edge” simulators are meticulously designed to replicate the visceral feeling of being behind the wheel of high-performance sports cars, such as Ferraris and Lamborghinis, on a heart-pounding racecourse.
As you step into Race Line Social, you’ll be greeted by a massive 8-by-12-foot high-definition TV wall. This feature is designed to broadcast a wide range of races, captivating both racing aficionados and casual spectators. The wall can be configured to display a single, larger visual for a grand experience or be segmented into smaller screens, ensuring a comprehensive view of multiple racing events.
A comprehensive bar food menu will be available to complement the racing excitement. Guests can choose from an array of offerings, including sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, fresh salads, snacks, and desserts. Patrons can also partake in a full-service bar.
Race Line Social also offers the option to rent driving simulators or join a league of community racing enthusiasts with friendly competition. Patrons can also drive up to a watch party option, or engage in private event options from Race Line, according to the company website.
