Raising Cane’s is kicking off 2023 by officially planting its roots in downtown Chicago, with the opening of its Flagship Restaurant located at 2 N. Michigan Avenue.
Doors will open on Tuesday, January 10th, at 10 a.m. The Restaurant will host a “Lucky 20” drawing where 20 Customers, ages 13 and older, will be selected to win Free Cane’s for a Year! Entries will be collected from 8:30-9 a.m., and winners – who must be present to win – will be drawn at 9 a.m.
A roaming photo booth will be on site for Customers to capture the fun and DJ One Change, the Chicago Bulls DJ, will be spining music! The Restaurant offers a clear view of The Bean and a three-foot tall statue of Cane, the brand’s canine mascot.
The 5,000-square foot Restaurant located in the historic Montgomery Ward headquarters building will be the first Raising Cane’s located in downtown Chicago. The Restaurant has several features that are unique to this site, including graphics that pay homage to the building’s history, a table shaped like The Bean, and more! Cane’s in downtown Chicago will serve Customers through its mobile app, takeout, and dine-in options from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“We can’t wait to share the fun and excitement from our grand opening celebration with all of Chicago,” said Regional Leader of Restaurants Kevin Ryan in a statement. “This community has always been a big supporter of Raising Cane’s, so to be adding a flagship Restaurant on Michigan Ave. – in the heart of the city – is huge for us and all of the Caniacs out there!”
This will be Raising Canes’ second Flagship in the country, with its first opening in 2022 on the Las Vegas Strip. The Flagship sites are one-of-a-kind Restaurants, uniquely designed for some of the highest profile places in the country, allowing Cane’s to plant its roots in those key areas. Raising Cane’s will open the doors to two more Flagship sites this year, one in South Beach in Miami, and the other in Times Square in New York City.
At Raising Cane’s, it all starts with 100% premium white meat chicken tenderloins that are marinated, hand-battered and cooked to order. The menu is also known for its secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
