A Creole soul food concept is cooking up a new location slated to bring Southern hospitality to Wrigleyville.

A liquor license application indicates that Neva Hangry is planning its second location at 3404 N Clark Street. The space was formerly occupied by Irie Jerk Bar And Grill, a now-closed Jamaican restaurant.

Neva Hangry comes from RoShonda Jackson, who also had a catering company called Red Carpet Caterin. She is also the author of a cookbook on vegan soul food.

The new restaurant will be located at the corner of N. Clark Street and W. Roscoe Street, just south of Wrigley Field. The menu will feature Creole flavors and handcrafted cocktails.

The original location of Neva Hangry is located in Morgan Park/Blue Island at 2026 W 119th Street.
