According to a recent permit filing, The Alston aims to debut at 14 W Superior Street on the third floor.
Rajan Sharma, the principal owner, stated that this will be The Alston, contrary to the permit filing referring to the space as Damira. Sharma also relayed that a big team will be behind the concept.
The Alston’s address is listed to be a part of the One Chicago building in River North. One Chicago’s amenities section of the website states, “Whole Foods Market’s flagship store is at One Chicago, providing easy-access as well as multiple dining options and home delivery services right to your door.”
“Gemini Grill offers fine dining and home delivery services to all residents. Grab your coffee and go from Philz Coffee, located just downstairs.” An in-house restaurant is also mentioned alongside other numerous amenities options.
When it comes to the team behind the building, the website adds “Founded in 1993 by James Letchinger, JDL Development is Chicago’s premier residential developer and is responsible for some of the city’s finest buildings, including its most recent accomplishment, No. 9 Walton. Completed in 2019, No. 9 Walton raised the bar for city living.”
