A kitchen and bar with lunch and dinner options is on the way to the southwest suburb.
From a recent report and buzz on social media, The Bridewell Tavern is coming to 525 Village Center Drive in Burr Ridge. This comes from Peter Burdi who owns Nabuki in Hinsdale and Bar Poca Madre in Burr Ridge. Burdi told What Now Chicago the opening date is March 1.
This new dining option will have a menu of traditional bar food with an “elevated spin,” according to their website. Many of the entrees will be seed oil-free, with both lunch and dinner options available. A fine cocktail menu is planned as well alongside beer and wine.
“Whether you want a good place to watch the big game, have a night out with friends, host a party or have a place to bring your family, The Bridewell Tavern has good times and good vibes for everyone!” Says the description on their website.
Burdi is a local of Hinsdale, and he also owns Pronto Italian Sandwiches in Naperville which he opened in April last year. He already opened the Hinsdale location, and has been inspired to introduce new concepts from his trips to different countries. Now, he is stepping into the bar/tavern scene.
The restaurant will be joining many bars and restaurants in the Burr Ridge Village Center shopping mall. These include The Hampton Social – Burr Ridge, Cooper’s Hawk and Olive Tree Mediterranean Cuisine. Bridewell will be on the southwest side of the outdoor mall between Olive Tree Mediterranean and Starbucks.
Bridewell Tavern’s social media has not been set up yet. Until then, those at the shopping mall passing by can check in on the restaurant’s progress.
