A new concept for fried chicken is coming to the southwest suburb soon.

The Feathered Fork is planned for 20631 Renwick Road in Crest Hill. It is a chicken restaurant promising global flavors. There is no official opening date yet, but it is expected to debut later this month.

“Feathered Fork blends bold cultural flavors, premium ingredients and refined techniques into every crispy bite,” says the description on their Facebook page. Staff first first posted in July that the restaurant is coming to Crest Hill. It will join other chicken spots in town such as Sharks Fish and Chicken, The Southern Cafe and Merichka’s Restaurant.

The project comes from Kurtis Lott, a local of Chicago who is in both real estate and the restaurant industry. Lott has not yet responded to What Now Chicago’s request for comment.

Feathered Fork is in the same plaza as Sopranos Pizzeria & Catering and Mariscos el Puerto 3 Mexican restaurant. The new restaurant is currently listed on Google, with no hours of operation or information about carryout options.

When speaking with the City of Crest Hill Plan Commission, staff did not have any updates on the opening. For more information on the restaurant, visit their Instagram @the_feathered_fork.
