The Pancake Café will open its fifth location in Lincolnshire, IL. Lease intel obtained by What Now Chicago indicates the restaurant will open in a 4,000 square-foot retail space at 300 Village Green Drive, Suite 100.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Leutrim Ukmata took over as owner of The Pancake Café in April 2018. The family-owned restaurant was founded in 1999 and is known for its fresh squeezed orange juice, full-bar, and, of course, those pancakes. Originating in Wisconsin, the eatery appears to have expanded into the Chicago area in the last few years.

Not only can you find classic pancakes on the café’s menu, this breakfast joint serves up blueberry, strawberry, and chocolate chip cakes. Pecan, banana nut, and, wait for it, bacon pancakes are on the menu, as well as decadently sweet options like red velvet, Oreo, and birthday cake varieties. Crepes, 5-Egg baked omelets, Belgian waffles, sandwiches and more are available for order as well.

We reached out to Ukmata for comment but had not heard back at the time of publication, so the opening timeline for Illinois’ second Pancake Café is currently unclear.
