Streeterville Welcomes Tropical Smoothie Cafe
The new Tropical Smoothie Cafe at 214 E Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60611, will bring a vibrant and health-conscious eatery to Streeterville. The brand serves at multiple locations with real fruit smoothies, wraps, flatbreads, and bowls that are intended to be fresh and fast meals.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe, one of the largest smoothie chains in the country, soft-launched its Streeterville location in late June, with the grand opening set for July 12. The cafe is located in Saint Grand, a high-profile, mixed-use development that opened less than two years ago.
The Streeterville Tropical Smoothie Cafe is conveniently just a short walk from Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier, and AMC Theatre. This prime location serves as the second of four Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations franchisees Cesar Coronado and Marlon Sullivan plan to open in Chicago within the next three months.
Grand Opening Celebration This Weekend
Several activities are planned for guests for the grand opening. Streeterville residents and Tropical Smoothie Cafe fans are encouraged to join in on the fun during the grand opening on July 12. The cafe will open at 8 am, and the first 50 guests in line will get free smoothies for a year.
The cafe will remain open until 9 p.m., and visitors will receive a free smoothie with any food or bowl purchase. Prizes, giveaways, and free samples will also be available for all guests.
The new Streeterville cafe serves the brand’s popular feel-good menu, making it easy to eat healthy. Guests can visit the cafe or order on the Tropical Smoothie Cafe app. Orders can be placed for delivery and takeout on third-party platforms, including DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and ezCater.
“Expanding into Streeterville is a huge milestone for us. This neighborhood is full of energy and a diverse mix of consumers and businesses,” said Cesar Coronado, franchisee. Beyond serving their guests, franchisees Coronado and Sullivan also give back to the local community, regularly donating smoothies and meals, supporting charitable organizations, and sponsoring local programs to help inspire better communities.
Whether someone is a long-time fan of Tropical Smoothie Cafe or a first-time visitor, they can get a refreshing escape with a tropical twist at the Streeterville outlet. With smoothies, wraps, and more, the cafe is poised to become a convenient stop for Streeterville locals and downtown visitors.
