Indoor golf simulator X-Golf is expanding to three new locations in Chicago: one in Joliet, South Loop, and Wrigleyville.

These locations’ exact opening dates and addresses are unknown, but they are expected to open by the end of the year. The company also has a new location coming to Kildeer, opening by the end of April, plus another location coming to Bloomington. Once these five new sites open, Illinois will be home to 13 X-Golf locations. CEO and founder Ryan D’Arcy began a franchise program in 2016 and is expected to have more than 80 locations across the country by the end of the year, according to a representative.

When these locations open, guests can expect state-of-the-art golf simulators on world-renowned courses, as well as golf lessons and club fittings. To wash it all down, X-Golf also offers refreshing cold beers available as pitchers from the full-service bar. As for food, guests can find delicious snacks and entrees such as chicken tenders, pizza, fries, artichoke dips, crab rangoon, and more.

What sets X-Golf apart from other golf simulators is the incredibly accurate technology. The company’s R & D department has spent over 15 years engineering a sophisticated combination of laser, light, impact, and camera sensory technologies to collect raw data at and around the impact zone.

This technology measures the golf ball’s motion vector and the golf club’s movement, such as path, angle of attack, trajectory, and velocity. All of this, plus the automatic ball, teeing, and feeding system, creates an experience that makes golf even more enjoyable without worrying about the weather.
